Have Questions? You're Not Alone.

Family is always welcome at Garden View Manor. We don’t have rigid visiting hours – you can come by pretty much whenever it’s convenient for you and your family. (We just ask for a little heads-up if it’s very late at night.) You’re also more than welcome to take your dad out for a special occasion or family gathering. Just let us know your plans, and we’ll have him ready to go enjoy time with you. We know how important those family moments are, and we want this to feel like home for your dad and for you.

Garden View Manor is a residential care home facility that's supposed to feel like home. As such, each of our residents gets a lot of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Our staff-to-resident ratio is high, meaning there’s always someone available to chat with your dad, help him when needed, and check on him regularly. He won’t ever feel like “just a number” here; we really get to know him and his needs personally.

We have caregivers on-site 24/7, so your dad will never be alone in an emergency. If something happens – day or night – our staff will respond immediately, assess the situation, and call 911 or a nurse if needed. We’ll also contact you right away, so you’re informed and involved. Your dad’s safety is our top priority, and we’re always prepared to get him the help he needs quickly.

04/13/2026 I currently work in healthcare and have the opportunity to go into Garden view Manor on a regular basis. This place is amazing, all staff is very nice and welcoming, management is phenomenal in the ever-changing face of healthcare. The house is always clean and very well cared for as are the residents. I would highly recommend a tour for your loved one as I trust that they would get the best care possible and I’m pretty picky.☺️ Teri Varga Google

How Small Is “Small” Assisted Living?

“How big is your home?” is a smart question. In assisted living, size affects everything—caregiver attention, noise level, how quickly needs are noticed, and whether a resident feels like a person or a room number.

Our Elkhorn home is intentionally small, with a high caregiver-to-resident ratio and a residential layout that feels familiar. For many West Omaha families, that smaller scale is exactly what creates peace of mind: quicker response, more relationship-based care, and a calmer daily rhythm.

If you’re comparing assisted living options near Elkhorn, ask: How many residents live here? Who provides daily care? How consistent is the team?

If you’d like, message us to request a tour and see what “small and personal” truly looks like.

Games, Reading, and Gentle Connection

Some of the best moments in a small assisted living home are wonderfully simple: a card game at the table, a chapter read aloud, or a relaxed afternoon with conversation and laughter. Families touring assisted living in Elkhorn often ask if their loved one will have meaningful social time—and in a smaller home, it can feel more natural and less overwhelming.

If you’re searching for assisted living near West Omaha for your dad, consider what “connection” looks like for him. Some people love group activities. Others prefer one-on-one conversation or quiet companionship. Both deserve respect.

Our goal is to create a steady rhythm that feels comforting, supportive, and human. Message us if you’d like to visit and see daily life in person.
